Today is World Animal Day, observed on October 4th each year, is a global event focused on celebrating animals and advocating for their welfare. The day aims to raise awareness about the importance of animals in our lives and to promote their protection, well-being, and rights.
It also serves to highlight the need for humane treatment of animals, whether they are pets, wildlife, or farm animals. The event encourages people to take action—whether by supporting animal rights organisations, participating in local events, or simply educating themselves and others about the ethical treatment of animals.
